Clinic Committee

Our clinic committee would like to extend an invitation to you to attend a truly unique football officiating clinic. We have assembled an outstanding group of nationally prominent officials, observers, and supervisors who are planning to share their experience, philosophy and knowledge with each of you for an entire day. You will have an opportunity to meet, greet and eat with members of our clinic staff and guests as well as collegiate and high school conference officiating coordinators.
The program will include group sessions, position meetings, and special instruction on all areas of officiating including a seven-man and five-man mechanics review. Imagine a full day of sharing lessons with NFL, FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision), collegiate, and state championship football officials. Lunch will be followed by presentations from our renowned guest speakers.

Dan ScanlanBig XII Center JudgeDan Scanlan began his officiating career in 2004 working high school and youth games. In 2010 began working D2 and D3 football. He worked a D3 playoff game and a D2 semifinal playoff game. Dan just finished his eighth season with the Big 12 conference. Dan has worked several bowl games including the 2016 and 2020 Rose Bowl, 2019 Big 12 Championship and the 2017 & 2021 CFP National Championship games. Currently in the NFL ODP.
